Chenonceau offers two sumptuous gardens that combine rare species with hundreds of rosebushes, a great French tradition in garden design.
- Jardin de Diane – Featuring a vineyard and a pier (starting point for a tour of the Cher river). In the center of the garden, a water jet springs from a large pebble, a surprising design for the time.
- Jardin de Catherine de médicis – More intimate, with a central pool, this garden requires 130,000 flower plants to renew the floral decorations in spring and summer.
